pseudoskeptics
Pseudoskeptics are people who appeal to skeptical terminology, but do not practice it.

definition:

Pseudoskeptics are people who appeal to skeptical terminology, but do not practice it.

skeptical angle:

One of the challenges of organized skepticism is that the term is often confused with iconoclasm or cynicism. This attracts individuals who are not skeptical in their methodologies - just unconventional thinkers.

Common pseudoskeptics are: holocaust deniers, antisemites, conspiracy theorists, knee-jerk debunkers, aggressive atheists.

editor's note: personally, I think this element includes a lot of people with personality disorders such as ocpd (which includes this characteristic: the inability to drop an argument, or do admit one was wrong)
